| How to Help
There are many ways that individuals can support Breckenridge Village of Tyler's mission. BVT is always looking for volunteers to help in a wide variety of activities, as well as donors to contribute to the ever present financial need of caring for our residents. BVT needs your support to continue providing the best care possible for the special adults who call our community their home. Volunteer Opportunities
Helping with the vocational program. This programs needs volunteers that would be able to assist with candle making and assist with restokcing candles in local retail stores. Assisting with developing continuing education programs. This includes but is not limited to: computer training, piano lessons, ceramics, floral design, knitting, crocheting, cooking, reading, writing, art, woodwork and other crafts. Assisting residents with self-image. This includes working wtih them on makeup, hair, skin.
Volunteering with recreational activities programs. BVT offers a variety of recreational programs including: teaching sports, providing facilities for swimming, horseback riding, badminton, volleyball, soccer, softball, etc.
